MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS IN THE MAKING

A story that refused to be forgotten

It began with a vivid dream and a few paragraphs written down before they could disappear. For more than two decades, Stephen McCaskill kept returning to the idea—adding a line, expanding a scene, and wondering why the story would not let him go.

And Still We Stood follows three people caught in a fracturing nation. It is a deeply human story about what they hold on to, what they refuse to surrender, and what they choose to stand for.
